The Right Attire Can Help Improve Your Game.
Golf is a game that is played in many different types of weather; in northern Scotland, golfers are used to fierce winds and cold, driving rains; in sunny Florida, hot, humid, sweat producing conditions. To enjoy the game of golf and to play your best, close attention should be given to golf attire. The primary rule when selecting golf attire is comfort, not only how the clothes feel on your body, but how these clothes affect the golf swing regardless of weather conditions. Is this new to you? Striking a golf ball well requires that the body is relaxed and supple; any clothes that impede the flowing motion of the golf swing can negatively affect golf shots. In colder conditions, wearing clothes in layers such as long underwear, a loose turtle neck sweater and wind breaker can keep the golfer warm and not restrict his or her golf swing. In warmer climates, comfort is again the key; well fitting Bermuda shorts and a short sleeve golf shirt helps keeps the golfer from overheating. Modern golf shirts made from new synthetic materials actually “wicks” perspiration off the body. Of course, with golf shoes, they must fit perfectly. If you can dress well, you can play well.
